How every piece earns its place

Every bag is inspected by hand before it's listed. It is a multi-step process, not a stamp we apply. It's the same eye behind 100+ authenticated bags, and past sales independently verified by Vestiaire Collective, with those certificates shown in full on the page. You're never taking our word for it.

Construction

Stitch density and thread tension, leather grain, the way the panels meet: all checked by hand against pieces we know to be real.

Hardware

Weight and finish, zippers, engravings, the behaviour of the magnets and clasps. These are the details that are expensive to get right and easy to get wrong.

Stamps & date codes

Heat stamps, date codes or chips, and factory marks, decoded and cross-referenced against the brand's known production.

Leather & finish

The leather, the glazing, the lining, even how a piece smells. The things that are hardest to fake and easiest to feel.

What you get with every piece

Authentication ID. A permanent reference number tied to your piece and its documentation
Condition grade. A plain grade and an overall score, broken down across exterior leather, lining, hardware, edges, and corners
Macro photography. Close-ups of the date code, the hardware engraving, and any signs of wear
